HUSTLER’S TAKE OVER AIRPORT….FOR TWO DAYS OF FILMING

Doncaster Sheffield Airport welcomed stars of the BBC One hit TV series Hustle for two days of filming set to be screened on Monday Jan 11th at 9pm on BBC One.

All the main players from Hustle came to the airport to film the episode which sees Albert (Robert Vaughan) decide it’s time for a break, leaving the crew to fend for themselves during his absence. At the airport, as they see him off, the team are greeted by a familiar face, Finch (Mark Benton), a bumbling, ex-grifter mater of Ash’s (Robert Glenister) from back in the day.

Actors Adrian Lester, Robert Vaughan, Robert Glenister, Matt Di Angelo, Kelly Adams, Mark Benton, Nick Sidi, Brian Murphy and Rhoda Lewis spent two days in Doncaster at Robin Hood Airport filming the scenes.

Jodi Stow, Marketing and Communication Manager from Doncaster Sheffield Airport said: "We have a fantastic terminal building here and everyone is really excited to see what it looks like on Hustle.

"The stars and crew were very friendly and their filming certainly caused a buzz around the place.

"The filming took place in July which seems such a long time ago. It will be interesting to see how the plot all comes together. There are quite a few Hustle fans amongst the staff and even those that didn’t watch before will definitely be watching on Monday night."
