In this section you can find out more about filming & photography at the Airport.
Subject to approval on security grounds, Robin Hood Airport welcomes filming on site; however this must be agreed with the Airport (in writing) in advance.
Film crews of all sizes have been accommodated successfully in the past, with the Airport used on numerous occasions as a location for popular television series from major players like the BBC and ITV.
Filming projects carried out at Robin Hood Airport include ITV's Emmerdale and a prime time (BBC Manchester) documentary 'Should I Really Give Up Flying?'.
Regional TV stations often choose to broadcast live from Robin Hood Airport.
Want to join them?
A minimum of seven working days’ notice is required for any filming project and will be subject to Airport approval.
There will be a charge for filming and photography which will be based on the size of the project, assistance required and duration. Such costs will be discussed and agreed prior to a filming/photography shoot.
