For those of you who have never visited any of the Dublin hotels before you should know that Dublin is split into three main areas, City South, City North and Temple Bar (City Centre).  Each of these areas are scattered with hotels so you shouldn’t have a problem finding something to suit your requirements.


The Temple Bar area of Dublin is ideal for those of you wanting to stay close to some of the best night spots and restaurants the city has to offer.  If you aren’t one for using public transport or hiring a car, then booking a hotel in Dublin right in the heart of the main nightlife is probably your best option.

City South, as the name suggests is to the South of the City and is just a bit further out than the Temple Bar area.  This area of Dublin is filled with art galleries, theatres, cafes etc so those who like to be surrounded by culture should look at booking a South City Area Dublin hotel.

Dublin City

The North City area of Dublin is separated from the South City area by the River Liffey.  Those visitors wishing to stay in the North City area but visit the South City area, can do so via the pedestrian footbridges scattered along the river.  North City is also the area around O’Connell Street and is best known for its architecture.  If you like to stay in a hotel that is a little different then the North City area of the city is the place you should book your Dublin hotel.
