Community Investment Fund
The focus of Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield's Community Investment Fund, is to support projects that are aimed at community development, small scale regeneration, environmental improvement and improving education and sports facilities.
The Community Investment Fund was launched with an investment by Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield of £12,000. In addition to this, other environmental incomes, such as financial penalties levied on aircraft contravening the Noise Charging Policy, have been donated to the Fund.
Applications to the Fund are administered by the Environment & Community Manager, who then, after liaising with the Chair of the Community Sub Committee and the Chair of the Airport Consultative Committee, makes recommendations to the Airport Directors.
The Community Investment Fund is currently closed to new applications.

Past initiatives that Robin Hood Airport's Community Investment Fund has supported includes:-
- The donation of funds to help improve access to Blaxton Village Hall.
- The donation of the local community centre to Auckley Parish on a five year free lease.
- Providing free use of the chapel at the airport site to the Roman Catholic Church
- Providing a local community agency with the appropriate professional advice on funding options to support their efforts to provide playing fields for the children of their village
- Hayfield Green Residents Association. Contribution to website hosting for their youth link
- Contribution to the annual Auckley Show and Gala
- Contribution towards training ground hire charges and sponsorship of trophies for Branton Junior Football Club
- Contribution of face painting, refreshments and prizes for the Cantley & Bessacarr Community Partnership Event
