Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield has been shortlisted for two prestigious regional business awards.
The Airport has been shortlisted for the ‘Excellence in Customer Service Award’ and the ‘Success Through Partnership Working Award’ at the Doncaster Chamber of Commerce awards, which are due to take place in December.
Now in its 15th year the Doncaster Business Awards, sponsored by Brewster Pratap, showcase the achievements of Doncaster businesses at one of the most prestigious awards ceremony in the region. The thirteen Business Award categories are open to businesses of all sizes and sectors and celebrate the best of Doncaster.
The customer service award recognises a business that truly has the customer at the very heart of its business, whilst the performance through partnership category acknowledges an organisation’s ability to seek out and develop partnerships that move beyond normal commercial relationships. The management team at the airport believe they have been very successful in both categories over the past year.
The award nominations follow the Airport’s recent accolade of being voted as one of the top three airports in the country following a survey by Which? Members.
Steve Gill, Managing Director said: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for both awards as they acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our team here at the Airport.
“We pride ourselves on delivering the very best levels of customer service to every single passenger who uses the airport. Our aim is to be the “Airport of choice” for the consumer and we know that to achieve that we have to be at the top of our game in the way we treat our customers.
“Part of our growth strategy has been to develop key strategic partnerships that deliver real added value for all partners, customers and stakeholders.
“It is great to receive recognition in these two key areas of our business and we are looking forward to the award ceremony in December.”
