"Turn Up & Pay" Gate Rates

It is not necessary to pre-book a space within our On-Airport Car Parks, however, pre-booking works out cheaper than the standard "turn up and pay" gate rate. We have lots of space and all Car Parking is within easy walking distance of the terminal building.

The Car Park is clearly sign-posted on approach to the Airport. If you have not pre-booked a parking space, all you need to do is take a ticket from the barrier on entry, find a car parking space and then pay on departure. Payment can be made at any of the Paystation machines located in the terminal before returning to your car. The Paystation machines accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as cash. Please note we are currently unable to accept payment by American Express. VAT Receipts are available on request.

How to Pay

1. Non Pre-Booked Customers

If you have not pre-booked your parking, you can pay by Credit or Debit Card or by Cash at any of the Pay-On-Foot machines that are located inside the Terminal and in the Drop off and Pick Up Car Park.

Please note payment by Credit or Debit Card can be made at any of the exit barriers.

2. Pre-booked Customers Only

We operate Automatic Number Plate Recognition - under no circumstances insert credit/debit cards in car park machines or you will be overcharged.

Please follow the directional signage towards your pre booked car park.

Arrival procedure
Upon arrival at the airport, drive up to the entry barrier. The ANPR system will read the vehicle registration plate and automatically issue you with a ticket. Remove the ticket, and the barrier will rise allowing you to enter. Do not lose the ticket, you will need this to exit.

Exit Procedures
On your return to the airport, please collect your vehicle and drive to the exit barriers. Insert the original entry ticket in the exit machine, where the barrier will rise allowing you to exit the car park. Any additional stay outside the pre-booked period will be charged at the standard tariff.

Though you no longer need your booking confirmation voucher, you are advised to bring it in the event of system failure. Should the system fail to recognise your vehicle when you arrive at the airport, please take a ticket from the entry machine. On your return, please proceed towards the exit barrier in your vehicle. Press the help button on the barrier and provide the operator with your pre-booking reference number and Surname.
