FIRST AID AT WORK - 3 DAY TRAINING COURSE

First Aid at Work - Training This 3-day course offers a basic curriculum in a range of first aid competencies needed in your workplace giving our students the ability to administer first aid safely, promptly and effectively to a casualty.

Successful candidates will be able to act as first aiders in the Work place. The certification is valid for 3 years.

Who is the course for?
This course is appropriate for any member of your staff, but particularly those who are required to act as first aiders in the work place.

How to act in the event of an emergency, CPR ( cardio-pulmonary resuscitation ), Unconscious casualty, Wounds & bleeding, Burns & scalds, Injuries to bones, muscles and joints, Shock, Eye injuries, Poisoning & Transportation of a casualty

FIRST AID AT WORK - 2 DAY RE-VALIDATION COURSE

This 2-day course is designed to refresh current first aid at work (FAAW) certificate holders and covers all aspects of the first aid at work course.

Because staffing levels are complicated enough to manage, this course can be taken up to 3 months before the expiry date of their certificate. The new certificate will then take effect from the date of expiry. Once renewed the certificate is valid for a further 3 years.

Who is the course for?
This course is to re-validate a member of staff who’s FAAW certificate is due to expire.

NEW EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK - ONE DAY COURSE

This new course is designed to meet the requirements of the HSE and in compliance as part of your First Aid Risk Assessment. The certificate is valid for 3 years.
